7+ Years Later.
- 1.21 Java
- Mostly* vanilla survival
- Optional client modpack
Hey. Been awhile, hasn't it?
I'm looking forward to exploring the new world gen 1.18 brings, as well as tons of new additions I haven't kept up with over the few years. Since GizMC, I've ran a few super tiny servers and the occasional modpack, but I have missed it. I dunno how long interest will keep, but the plan is to keep this server up for a year at the least it's been online pretty solidly since 2021!
I hope you'll join me. Bring your friends!

Server Mods
I'm looking to keep things pretty close to vanilla survival Minecraft, with a few quality of life enhancements. As soon as they're updated, I'll be popping on a handful of performance tweaks. I'm also curious to try Bedrock/Mobile/Console compatibility.
Here's the current selection of modifications:
- Graves
- A gravestone will drop where you died. Only accessible to you. Right click with an empty hand to retrieve your items.
Despawns after 30 realtime minutes./trigger grave
to view last death coords. - Multiplayer Sleep
- Only a fraction of the online players need to sleep to skip night in the overworld.
/trigger mpSleep
to customize notifications. - Durability Ping
- Get notified when tools & armor are close to breaking. Save that mending!
/trigger duraPing
to customize notifications. - Timber & Fast Leaf Decay experimental
- Iron Axes and above can instantly fell a whole tree.
/trigger TimberToggle
to disable. - XP Management experimental
- Right click an enchanting table with an empty bottle to store. Smelt to restore.
- Silence Mobs
- Nametags with
silence me
make mobs will shut up. - Player & Mob Head Drops
- Mobs have a chance to drop their heads when slain. Players always do.
- Double Shulker Shells
- 100% chance for shulkers to drop 2 shells.
- Custom Nether Portals
- Nether portals can be any shape or size.
- Preconfigured resource pack
- Optional selection of tiny graphical tweaks from VanillaTweaks.
Optional Client Mods
I've setup a preconfigured modpack for Prism Launcher (for which you'll need to manually install Java.) You can use this by adding a new instance in Prism and importing from zip (or zip via url): https://modpack.whitenoisegaming.com/wng.zip
This modpack contains a number of performance mods (à la Optifine) and the following:
- Mod Menu
- Configure mod settings ingame. New option in ESC menu.
- Xaero's Minimap & World Map
- Ingame minimap, waypoints, and fullscreen map of where you've explored.
m to view and configure, n to create waypoint, b to list. - Lighty
- View where mobs could possibly spawn.
F7 to toggle. - Jade
- HUD displaying info and stats of the block or mob you're looking at.
- ClickThrough
- Click through signs and item frames to access chests or other containers behind them.
- ClientSort
- Sort inventories via middle mouse.
- Inventory Tabs
- View and access nearby inventories, furnances, etc.
- Zoomglass
- Use a spyglass from your inventory via a keybind.
- Inspecio
- Enhanced item hover tooltips displaying stats, maps, and more.
- Dynamic Lights
- Dynamic lights created by torches, lamps, fires, and more
- Mouse Wheelie
- Inventory sorting, refilling, shortcuts, and more.
- Distant Horizons
- Increase render distance with lower quality terrain.
- Iris
- Iris for shaderpacks. Complementary Reimagined and a few others are included in the modpack.
- Preconfigured resource pack
- A selection of tiny graphic and sound tweaks from VanillaTweaks.
If you want to make your own, their customizer is excellent.
A handful of other quality of life, graphics, and performance mods are included.
